

Courses and Training
We have developed a training program that will ensure you to receive the best education. We have up-to-date training material that is provided by the leaders of the driving industry. Our educators are well trained in assisting you through the process of earning your permit with any necessary endorsements.
At PA PRIDE, we believe in small classes that allow you to work directly with the instructor as much as possible.
Courses:
All training is done through our partner schools. Pa PRIDE is not a licensed school.
4 week CDL training program for Class A & Air Brakes:

Training is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Entrance Requirements: Individual must be at least 18 years of age, have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen.
Program Information

The objective of this program is to prepare the individual to acquire their Class A CDL with airbrakes in the state of PA. The program will have a focus on over-the-road driving that will include industry awareness and DOT safety/regulations. Each individual will receive 40 hours of classroom training to prepare them to take their Class A permit test with air brakes and meet the theory portion of the ELDT. The next 3 weeks will consist of 120 hours of road and range driving to meet the ELDT requirements for the range and public road portion of the ELDT.

Upon completion of the program, each individual will have received the knowledge and skills required to pass the written exam and tactile test to receive their Class A CDL, with air brakes.
The program will provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to gain employment with national, regional, and local companies.
At the completion of the program, students will be given the driver's exam at our Third Party Test Site.

5 week CDL training for Class A, Air Brakes, Hazmat, and Tankers:

Training is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Entrance Requirements: Individual must be at least 18 years of age, and must be 21 years of age to get the hazmat endorsement. They must also have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screen.

The objective of this program is to prepare the individual to acquire their Class A CDL in the state of PA, with their air brakes, doubles/triples, tankers, and hazmat endorsements. The program will have a focus on over-the-road driving that will include industry awareness and DOT safety/regulations. Each individual will receive 60 hours of classroom training to include knowledge about air brakes, doubles/triples, tankers, and hazmat endorsements to meet the ELDT theory. The remaining 3 weeks will consist of 120 hours of road and range driving to meet the Range and road portion of the ELDT. Upon completion of the program, each individual will have received the knowledge and skills required to pass the written exam and tactile test to receive their Class A CDL, with air brakes, tankers, doubles/triples, and hazmat endorsements.
The program will provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to gain employment with national, regional, and local companies.
