CDL Testing

CDL testing is only conducted at our Cranberry Mall location in Venango County.

Things you need to bring:

​

• Valid Drivers License (copies are not permitted on testing day)

• Valid CDL Class A or B Permit (copies are not permitted on testing day)

• Payment  

• Successfully completed all the requirements for ELDT. (theory, backing range and public road)  

• If bringing your own truck, see below for the documents you will need.

CDL Testing Fees

Initial Class A, B or C CDL Exam Fee: $250.00

Retesting Fees: (Only applies to individuals that have previously tested at Pa PRIDE, if you tested at another location, you will be charged the intial CDL Exam Fee)

Pre-Trip, Skills, and Road Retest Exam Fee: $225.00

Skills and Road Retest Exam Fee: $150.00

Road Retest Exam Fee: $75.00

Restriction Removal Fees:

 

Air Brake Restriction Removal Fee: $150.00

 

Automatic Restriction Removal Fee: $150.00

 

Tractor Trailer Restriction Removal Fee: $225.00

Truck Rental: 
 

*Truck rentals are available only for CDL skills testing at Pa PRIDE's testing location. 

Class A: $300.00 (Plus Testing Fees)

Straight Truck: $225.00 (Plus Retesting Fees)

 

Trailer Rental: $150.00 (Plus Retesting Fees)

If Bringing your own Truck you will need:

• Valid Truck Registration 

• Valid Truck Insurance 

• Valid Trailer Registration 

• Valid Trailer Insurance 

• Co-Driver that you arrived with MUST have valid CDL for the appropriate class of vehicle.

Practice Time:

​

Practice time is $100.00 for every hour purchased.

After You Complete Your CDL Test:
 

• wait 7 to 10 business days to receive your CDL in the mail

• If you have not received your CDL after 15 business days, please contact us at 814-670-0726

You must submit a copy of your permit 48 hours before the date of your test. This can be done either by fax or an emailed photo.
